How do I search for something?
Many of the databases have a search bar similar to Google. Use keywords or terms of topics and narrow the results by date, information type, and more.
Why do I need to provide a barcode before using a database?
Some of the databases will require your library card number before using it. This is to ensure the user is a library card holder. If you don't have a library card, click here to learn how to get one. Anyone is able to use the online databases if they are inside the Library Center of the Ozarks.
Do I have to register for an account?
A few of the resources such as LearningExpress Library will require registration of an account. This is in order to keep track of progress completion and gives the ability to revisit practice tests, review tutorials, and pick up paused eBooks. Signing up is free and requires a library card and email address.
